The 2021 Planner List

This is always my favorite time of the year – planner season! Let’s be real, for me planner season is all year around. Every year I host a vision board workshop with friends and 2020 was really going to be everyone’s year of change… and boy did things change! I feel a bit refreshed with 2021 just around the corner, I think everyone will have a collective sense of hope, if even the slightest, with the physical symbolism of replacing our 2020 planner for our new 2021 planner.

Let’s start with a blank canvas and create a game plan, even if the apocalypse saga continues…

…As one of my friends put it, the daily challenge has been finding ways to stay stoked. For me, a planner does just that, it helps me stay stoked and cultivate motivation, even in the midst of mundane groundhog days.

Here are 4 planners I’m crushing on this year for my 2021 lineup. These planners are more than just a place to make lists and appointments, all of these have some sort of goal setting element to them which I think will be really important for everyone this year.

The Passion Planner

Why I love the Passion Planner:

The passion planner helps you set short and long term goals with the Passion Roadmap explained in the beginning of each planner; and monthly journal prompts to get you reflecting on your progress. They also provide a mid-year roadmap to make any adjustments you need to make to your goals, which was something we all had to do when Covid hit.

I love the hourly layout, especially working part time, and from home. I like to keep track of what I am doing each hour to make sure I am being efficient with my time. I know hourly layouts intimidate people, I used to feel this way, but I find that filling it in as the day progresses is the way to go instead of planning ahead… because life happens! Filling it in as the day progresses is also a fun way of staying accountable throughout the day.

There is also something about having the simple Personal To-Do list next to the Work To-Do list that makes it super functional and simple. I find I get a lot more done when I use this planner.

Lastly, they offer free PDF downloads so you can test out the different sizes with your handwriting. They have great inserts to customize your planning systems like expense logs and habit tracking.

Definitely check out how other people use the Passion Planner on Instagram; you’ll find an array of super crafty journaling styles to minimalistic planning to get you started.

For all you lefties out there, this planner lays completely flat. It’s beautiful.

The Clever Fox Planner

Why I love the Clever Fox Planner:

For someone who wants it all in one planner, this is it. I love the weekly dashboard layout prompting you to set goals, work on your habits, and reflect on how you can improve the next week.

I’ve never put my hands on an actual Clever Fox Planner but the quality looks very nice and durable. This planner line also features a workout and budget style planner, you can check it out here.

For all you lefties out there.. this one also lays flat ๐Ÿ˜‰

Fancy Plans Co.

Why I love Fancy Plans Co.:

I am so excited to announce this planner in my planner lineup. This is a black-owned planner shop, by a very special #momprenuer who is a star in the planner community – At Home With Quita.

I’ve been following her and obsessing over everything she does because she shares the same love I have for discbound planners. Her planner shop Fancy Plans Co. has been around for a few years, but this year it has really taken off – She announced her first planner this year and I snagged one! There was a limited supply ;).

She is a super functional planner and has thought up of just about any layout you could possibly need from fitness, home management, business, family planning and faith. Not only that but she has all the accessories too, the pens, the paper clips, the stickers, and the post it notes.

On nights when I need some “self care”, I grab a glass of wine and watch her planner videos lol… no joke! I am honestly impressed by how she does it all. She is one Youtuber I would probably fan girl over lol. I just wanna give her a big hug.

But anyways, go check out her youtube channel and instagram.

The Day Designer

Why I love the Day Designer:

Sometimes you just need to focus on one thing at a time, on day at a time. This planner line is for you coil-bound lovers. In this daily layout you have space to plan dinners, track expenses, reflect on gratitude and take notes. They also offer weekly layouts.

What makes this a special daily planner is their goal setting section. They provide space to map out your perfect weekly, monthly, and annual routine; a space to reflect on your values, and a yearly self assessment.

They offer a variety of sizes and have some of the most beautiful covers I’ve seen on a planner. Like the Passion Planner, they offer FREE downloadable PDFs so you can try it out first to see if it’s for you.

You can check out their Instagram here, and shop on their website here.
