This New Moon finds itself at 4 degrees Pisces, the last zodiac sign in the astrological year. Pisces asks us what space we have held for love, healing, and forgiveness. To help, this new moon reminds us to take time to retreat both physically and spiritually. Soak in water whether that be in your own personal bath, nearby hot springs, or river, lake, or ocean!
Remember that water connects all things as they are all connected to you. Immerse yourself in poetry or a fantastical book, allow your mind to wander and your heart to ache to the great weight of the world and the human condition. Nevertheless, be careful not to let this overwhelming absorption of emotion overcome your sense of right and wrong as Pisces tempts us to give in to chaos. On the other hand, this grants us a perfect opportunity to practice building and maintaining personal boundaries.
This new moon is special because it occurs alongside Mercury as it moves retrograde through Pisces. Therefore, there is an incredible need to delve deep into your innovative intuition, listen to others shared pain, and eventually contribute to a healing reality. On a lighter note, being that Pisces is a water sign, the moon is cozy with the two fish. Don’t forget to treat yourself to something special, dabble in a new creative project, and let yourself love.
USE THIS CRYSTAL
TO GUIDE YOUR WAY
A Q U A M A R I N E
This stone is known to reduce stress, making room for a sharper intellect and wider intuition. Aquamarine, with it’s soothing powers, helps you trust in the moment. Wear this stone as a bracelet or keep as a tumblestone in your pocket. Put this crystal to your heart reciting: “I live in hope. Hope springs eternal. It is in my heart.”
Use any of the four elements to keep your crystals charged for maximum power.
Fire: crystals sit outside in sunlight or near a safe and contained source of fire like a candle, wood fireplace, or camp fire.
Earth: bury crystals in earth, soil, or dirt. Wrap crystals in leaves or rest on a bed of flower petals.
Air: burn incense and keep crystals near the smoke
Water: Let soak in creek, stream, river, ocean, or water from home (not all crystals do well in water so research first). Let crystals sit outside in moonlight (yes, new moon light can still charge crystals!)
